Ripple is a cryptocurrency used by XRP code and a payment system developed by Chris Larse and Jed McCaleb for use in financial transfers in 2012. Ripple's open-source platform enables sending in the desired currency type (Turkish Lira, American Dollar, litecoin, bitcoin). Ripple, which started to intermediate banks in international payments, is intended to enable financial institutions to make money transfers faster and cheaper.
Ripple uses a unique verification system. Thanks to this approval mechanism, it can perform both fast and lower cost transfers. Unlike other cryptocurrencies, all Ripples are manufactured, and 60% of them are in the hands of Ripple.
